TPCC seeks CBI probe into 'Congress
poaching' by KCR party, Says
TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy

A delegation of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), led by TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy, lodged a complaint at the Moinabad police station under the Cyberabad police area, seeking action against the BRS leadership for allegedly poaching the elected public representatives of the Telangana Congress.
The Committee asked the police to club its complaint with the already registered FIR filed on October 26, 2022, against 3 persons on the charges of allegedly attempting to poach 4 BRS MLAs by inducing them with posts, money, and contracts.
The PCC Chief demanded that cases should be filed against the BRS leadership including its chief - CM KCR, also under Sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy) and 171-B read with Sections 171-A and 34 (bribing with criminal intention) of the India Penal Code and Sections 7, 8, 13, and 14 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. “If the Moinabad police do not act on our complaint, we shall approach the court seeking transfer of the case to the CBI, as was ordered in the alleged attempt for poaching of 4 BRS MLAs,” Revanth Reddy told reporters after complaining.
The Pradesh Congress Committee alleged in this complaint that soon after assuming power for a 2nd term in December after the 2018 assembly elections, the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (then TRS) leadership managed to lure as many as 12 Congress MLAs into the ruling TRS party one after the other over only a few months.
