Telangana Congress launched the "Haath Se Haath Jodo"
campaign in the old city of Hyderabad

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) launched the "Haath Se Haath Jodo" campaign in the old city of Hyderabad from the historical monument - Charminar. The Congress accused some parties of spreading communal hatred in a Hyderabad city known for its Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb.
Congress District Committee President - Sameer Waliullah, Ex. Minister K Pushpa and many other Congress leaders participated in the inauguration of the "Haath Se Haath Jodo" campaign and distributed fruits amongst the patients at Nizamia Tibbi Hospital in the Charminar area. The Leaders walked up to the Purana Pul (Old Bridge) from Charminar while interacting with the people and explained to them about their campaign.
Sameer Waliullah said that Hyderabad city was a cosmopolitan city since its formation 432 years ago, and people from all across the world and all religions and communities have lived here peacefully. Still, a few political parties spread hatred in the city of peace-loving Hyderabadis.
Mr. Waliullah added that the purpose of this campaign is to endorse and reach out to people with his leader's message, Rahul Gandhi, that every citizen must unite and live peacefully. The campaign also aims to expose the BRS State Govt. and BJP Centre Govt. failures. He further added the old city of Hyderabad had been neglected for the last 9 years since Congress lost power in the State in 2014. If Congress is voted back to power, Congress will develop the Old City.
