KCR says his party - BRS is for India,
not limited to Telangana State

Emphasizing his vision for a thriving India, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao said his newly renamed party - Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), is for the country, adding that the journey of a million kilometers begins with a single step.
While addressing a gathering at the Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, CM KCR said, "Before Independence, there were such political situations where lives, properties, and even families were sacrificed. After Independence, the Constitution was formed. Many changes took place in politics and public life in the subsequent period. Considering what we have seen, experienced, and studied in the long political life, the country has not reached the stage it should have."
He further added that while comparing with US and China, the two countries are more extensive in size than India. "Only 29 percent of the USA and 16 percent of China are cultivable lands. But 50 percent of the land is available for cultivation in India. Half of it has excellent cropland. There is adequate sunlight. But crops are not growing as expected,".
Mr. Chandrasekhar also lost in the 2019 assembly election from West Guntur. After pausing for a while from active politics, Chandrasekhar has joined the BRS now and is likely to be appointed the BRS - Andhra Pradesh state president, party sources said.
Attributing to Central Water Commission, the Chief Minister of Telangana said India gets around 1.4 lakh TMC of water yearly. If our farmers are encouraged regularly, India will become the most developed country in the world. But the country witnessed the farmers staging sit-ins for a year in the national capital.
