Make Telangana an integral part of the airways revolution,
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy urged CM KCR

Union Minister and Telangana MP from Secunderabad, G Kishan Reddy, wrote on Wednesday to Telangana Chief Minister KCR. And asked the CM to "cooperate" with the Centre Government in its "efforts" to increase air connectivity in the State by establishing multiple airports in various regions.
"G. Kishan Reddy wrote the letter as Union Minister last time but had not gotten any response to the communication in July 2022,' an official statement said.
Mr. Reddy said that the Government of Telangana is not cooperating with the Central Government's "Udan Scheme," which is hampering the development of Telangana. "Recently, the Indian Government approved the land examination and offered all other technical support for the construction of Jakran Pally (Nizamabad), Adilabad, and Warangal airports," the minister said.
The Union Minister added the Union Govt. had launched the 'Udan' (Fly) scheme to make aviation accessible to the ordinary citizen of India. He reported that the 3 airports (Warangal, Adilabad, Jakranpally) with all required permits are done in Telangana, so it will be possible for small and private planes to operate soon.
"Even the Airport Authority of India (AAI) had written many letters to the Telangana Govt. regarding the construction of airports. Also, The Civil Aviation Minister - Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, had written to BRS led Telangana Government in 2021, but there has been no reply for the same," he further said. The official responses from the ruling BRS are yet to be seen against the statements of G. Kishan Reddy.
