After Telangana Govt Moves Supreme Court, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan Clears 3 Out Of 10 Pending Bills

The Telangana government moved the Supreme Court a few weeks ago seeking direction to the Governor to take a decision on the Bills sent to her approval; the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has now passed the 3 out of 10 legislations, sent 2 bills back to the Telangana Assembly and the Governor has forwarded 2 Bills to the President Droupadi Murmu. And the rest 3 she has kept to herself without disclosing any action on them so far.
As of now, there is not much clarity about the 3 bills that the Governor has cleared, those 2 she sent back to the Telangana government, or the rest 2 she has forwarded to Rashtrapati Bhavan. There is yet to be an official public announcement likely to become out by the State Govt.
The Government of Telangana has passed the Telangana Forest University Bill, the Telangana Women's University Bill, and the Jayashankar Agriculture University Amendment Bill. The Hon'ble Governor is reported to have sent the Azamabad Industrial Area Amendment Bill and the Telangana Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bill to the Hon'ble President.
The Governor's decision came on a crucial day when the Supreme Court resumed hearing on the state government's plea seeking SC's intervention in the matter. A writ petition filed in March by the BRS-led state government blamed the Governor for creating a "constitutional dilemma" by refusing to act on several Bills passed by the state legislative assembly.
