Minister KTR US tour: Telangana bagging back-to-back investments makes India feel proud and strong

Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao's ongoing tour to the US continues to bring more and more good news for Telangana. Over the last few days, many big companies have announced their plans to invest and mass hirings in Telangana. As per the latest developments, Sonata Software, a leading engineering firm, has announced that it will commence operations from the Nalgonda IT Tower, which will be opened shortly. Sonata will be offering 200 job opportunities from its Nalgonda center. Apart from this, firms, including Sanofi and Pi Health officials, also met with the Telangana delegation in the United States and discussed their plans for Telangana.
Over the past few days, GeneSys Biologics Pvt. Ltd. announced its expansion plans, which will contribute to Hyderabad City's biotech sector and facilitate GeneSys' ongoing collaboration with the US-based firm - Civica Rx. GeneSys firm, which has already invested about $50 million at Genome Valley, Hyderabad, now plans to invest an additional 50-60 million dollars for setting up a new large-scale recombinant mass manufacturing facility (from fermentation to purified bulk insulin) for its insulin analogues.
A few days back, within the same tour, Minister KTR met with Medtronic PLC's top officials, Ireland-the United Kingdom-based global leader in healthcare technology, which announced a mega-investment of over $350 million (around Rs.3000 crore) to expand Medtronic Engineering & Inn—Center (MEIC) in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The information came after Medtronic top officials like Mike Marinaro, Executive - Vice President (VP), President Surgical Mani Prakash, VP of Enterprise Research & Development, and other top officials of the company met Telangana's Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in New York, United States, on his tour to the US has brought much good news for India and significantly adds up the excellent investment journey for Telangana.
