Minister KTR US tour: Telangana on a journey
of getting more investments

Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao's ongoing tour to the United States continues to bring more investments into Telangana. On Friday, more big companies announced their plans in different sectors in South India's State - Telangana.
GeneSys Biologics Pvt. Ltd. announced its expansion plans, which will not only contribute to Hyderabad City's biotech sector but will also facilitate GeneSys' ongoing collaboration with the US-based firm - Civica Rx.
GeneSys Company, which has already invested about 50 million dollars at Genome Valley, Hyderabad, now plans to invest an additional 50-60 million dollars for setting up a new large-scale recombinant mass manufacturing facility (from fermentation to purified bulk insulin) for its insulin analogues.
Just recently, within the same visit, Minister KTR met with Medtronic PLC's top officials, Ireland-the UK-based global leader in healthcare technology, which has announced a mega-investment of over $350 million (around Rs.3000 crore) to expand Medtronic Engineering & Inn—Center (MEIC) in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The information came after Medtronic top officials like Mike Marinaro, Executive - Vice President (VP), President Surgical Mani Prakash, VP Enterprise R&D, and other senior officials of the company met Telangana's IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in New York, United States, on his tour to the US has brought much good news for India and significantly adds up the excellent investment journey in Telangana.
