SSC paper leak case: Bandi Sanjay sent on remand to 14-day judicial custody, shifted to Karimnagar jail

The MP from Karimnagar, Telangana, and Bharatiya Janata Party's Telangana State President Bandi Sanjay is arrested and indicted as the main accused in the SSC question paper leak case. Mr. Sanjay has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
On 5th April, MP Bandi Sanjay got arrested along with 2 individuals was sent to the Karimnagar jail.
The Kamalapur police charged BJP State President with IPC Sections 420 (cheating), 120 (B) (conspiracy), 447 (criminal trespass), also in 505 (1) (b) (intent to create fear or alarm to the public). Bandi Sanjay's bail plea hearing is posted for 6th April. He was brought before the magistrate Wednesday and sent to the judicial remand.
On 4th April, 3 people were arrested in connection with this matter, including one NaMo employee and Bandi Sanjay's social media advisor - Booram Prashanth.
The Warangal police arrested Bandi Sanjay for criminal conspiracy and 3 other persons to create rumors and provoke a violation of peace in the ongoing SSC examination conducted for State Public Service Recruitment. All of the mentioned above have been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. Bandi Sanjay is named the prime accused (A1) in the case.
This incident is seen as a big blow to the Telangana BJP in the purview of the upcoming state elections. The BJP has been running a fierce campaign to get power from the currently ruling BRS, and the arrest of their chief in this situation is seen as a significant setback for the BJP. The hearing for the bail petition is scheduled for 6th April (Today), and the BJP calls it an illegal arrest and looking to see its leader out on bail soon.
