The New Secretariat of Telangana State is to be
inaugurated on 30 April

The newly built Telangana Secretariat is named after Dr. BR Ambedkar by the BRS-led KCR Govt. in Telangana and is scheduled to be inaugurated on 30 April, an official press release said.
The decision to inaugurate the newly built Secretariat was postponed earlier. The State Govt. has decided to inaugurate it during a review meeting chaired by CM K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday evening. The Telangana Secretariat building, built with all modern facilities, looks beautiful in the pictures that have surfaced so far. As the press release stated, it will be inaugurated at the auspicious time decided by the Vedic scholars. The time will be disclosed soon, the statement said.
Soon after the inauguration, the Chief Minister KCR will first sit in his chambers. The respective ministers, secretaries, Chief Minister Office staff, and other secretariat staff will subsequently take over their chambers.
The honorable ministers, MLAs, MPs, MLCs, the chairpersons of state-level corporations, Head of Departments (HODs) of all departments, collectors of all districts, SPs, DCCB, District Council chairpersons, DCMMs chairmen, District library chairpersons, District rythubandhu council presidents, Corporation Mayors, and others will participate in the inauguration of the Secretariat. The statement said that various and strict security measures will be taken up in the new secretariat area in which approx 2500 people are expected to attend the auspicious event.
